The show’s full cast has been announced
Casting has been announced for the revival of DH Lawrence's play The Daughter-in-Law at the Arcola.
The piece, which will be staged in the round at the Arcola (the first London production in over 15 years) was never performed during Lawrence's lifetime, and first premiereded at the Royal Court in the 1960s.
It follows a family, the Gascoynes, revelling in the aftermath of a new marriage, before facing up to some news from the past.
Harry Hepple (Boy Meets Girl, Privates on Parade) will star as Luther Gascoyne in the production, alongside Ellie Nunn (Shapespeare in Love), Veronica Roberts (Moving Pieces), Matthew Biddulph (The Burying Party) and Tessa Bell-Briggs (As Good A Time as Any).
The piece has direction by Jack Gamble, design by Louie Whitemore, lighting design by Geoff Hense, sound design by Dinah Mullen with associate direction by Quentin Beroud.
