Hamilton daily lottery details announced

There will be a £10 daily lottery for the West End production of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s musical

Details have been announced for the daily lottery for Hamilton.

Theatregoers can apply for a maximum of two £10 lottery tickets available via the Hamilton app or online. Each lottery opens at 4pm and closes at 2pm the following day. Within an hour of the lottery closing, winners will be notified via the app or by email.

The show re-opens the newly rebuilt and restored Victoria Palace Theatre, with previews beginning on 6 December. The lottery will open on Monday 4 December in time for previews.

The cast of the West End production includes Jamael Westman as Alexander Hamilton, Giles Terera as Aaron Burr, Michael Jibson as King George, Rachelle Ann Go as Eliza Schuyler Hamilton and Rachel John as Angelica Schuyler. Read about the full cast here.

Hamilton is written by Lin-Manuel Miranda and is directed by Thomas Kail, with choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler. It tells the true story of one of America's founding fathers Alexander Hamilton who became George Washington's right-hand man during the Revolutionary War.

It won a Pulitzer Prize for Drama and a Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album. The original production is currently running at the Richard Rodgers Theatre on Broadway.

Hamilton runs at the Victoria Palace Theatre from 6 December and is currently booking until 30 June 2018.
