The play was premiered by the Royal Shakespeare Company in 2010 and was brought to Scotland in 2011 for a production in Edinburgh.
Dunsinane explores the aftermath of Macbeth’s death in the Scottish town as the English army occupies the land and fight to restore peace during a violent uprising.
Its original director Roxana Silbert will helm the revival, with Jonny Phillips and Siobhan Redmond reprising their roles as Siward and Gruach.
Other cast includes: George Brockbanks, Helen Darbyshire, Tom Gill, Sandy Grierson, Lewis Howden, Joshua Jenkins, Tony McGeever, Alex Mann, Mairi Morrison and Daniel Rose.
The production opens at Eden Court, Inverness (24-31 August) before going on to His Majesty’s Theatre, Aberdeen (3-7 September), Theatre Royal, Glasgow (10-14 September), Oxford Playhouse (17-21 September), Birmingham Repertory Theatre (24-28 September), Kings Theatre, Edinburgh (1-5 October) and Bath Theatre Royal (8-12 October).
