Further casting has been announced for the upcoming Young Chekhov season at Chichester Festival Theatre.
Running from 28 September to 14 November, the season features a repertory of Chekhov's early plays Platonov, Ivanov and The Seagull, all in new versions by David Hare.
Directed by Jonathan Kent, the 23-strong ensemble cast features Anna Chancellor, James McArdle and Samuel West.
They'll be joined by Lucy Briers, Pip Carter, Peter Egan, Brian Pettifer, Nina Sosanya and Olivia Vinall.
Also newly announced today are Emma Amos, Nebli Basani, Jonathan Coy, Mark Donald, Col Farrell, Joshua James, Beverley Klein, Des McAleer, Mark Penfold, Sarah Twomey, David Verrey and Jade Williams.
Further casting is still to be announced.
The actors will work together for three months before the Young Chekhov season opens at the Festival Theatre in September. Between them, the ensemble will play around 50 parts in total. Each of the three plays can be seen as a single performance or they can be watched over the course of a 'Trilogy Day'.
There are over 5,000 tickets priced at £10 available across the season.
