Full casting has been announced for the West End production of A Chorus Line, which opens at the London Palladium on 19 February 2013 (previews from 5 February).
It sees two actors who were selected during the open auditions for the show that were held last September join the cast. Alice Jane Murray (Lois) and Marc Leslie (Roy) were chosen from more than 2,000 hopefuls at the auditions that were held at the London Palladium, and Murray will be making her West End debut.
They join previously announced Scarlett Strallen (Cassie), Leigh Zimmerman (Sheila), John Partridge (Zach) and Victoria Hamilton-Barritt {Diana) in Marvin Hamlisch‘s Tony award-winning show.
The rest of the cast announced today includes Lucy Adcock (Judy), Georgie Ashford (Trisha), Ed Currie (Bobby), Frances Dee (Kristine), Segun Fawole (Butch), Harry Francis (Mark), Simon Hardwick (Al), Rebecca Herszenhon (Val), James T Lane (Richie), Vicki Lee Taylor (Maggie), Daisy Maywood (Bebe), Alastair Postlethwaite (Larry), Andy Rees (Greg), Adam Salter (Mike), Alexzandra Sarmiento (Connie), Michael Steedon (Tom), Gary Watson (Don) and Gary Wood (Paul). Further casting includes Rebecca Giocopazzi, Genevieve Nicole and Ashley Nottingham.
The revival is directed by Bob Avian, who also helmed the 2006 Tony-nominated Broadway production. Avian was original director Michael Bennett’s long-term collaborator and his co-choreographer on the original production. The show runs until 29 June 2013.
