Frontier Theatre announce new double-bill

Frontier Theatre, James Roose-Evans' company for older actors, have announced their next production – a world premiere double bill of Susan Hill’s Spring and Mitch Hooper’s The Last Dance.

Harry Burton will direct Sally Faulkner (Dinner, Upstairs at the Gatehouse) as The Older Woman in Spring, and as Suzanne in The Last Dance.

Portia Van De Braam (Time and The Conways – Tower Theatre Company) will also star in Spring, and David Mallinson (The History Boys – National Theatre) joins Faulkner in The Last Dance.

Hill's Spring and Hooper's The Last Dance are linked by ocean sounds and the figure of a silent female listener.

Spring and The Last Dance run at The Theatre Room from 20 October to 5 November, with previews from 18 October.
