The Finborough Theatre has announced its upcoming summer season, with the UK premiere of Noel Coward's This Was A Man as well as a mixture of new writing and more rediscovered work.

The season will open with two rediscoveries from Northern Ireland; St John Ervine's John Ferguson, which will run from 20 May to 14 June, and Stewart Parker's 1970s drama Spokesong, playing on Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays from 25 May to 10 June 2014.

Following on in June is the world premiere of US playwright Kevin Kautzman's Dream of Perfect Sleep, running from 17 June to 12 July 2014, with Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays hosting the European premiere of Off-Off-Broadway indie rock musical Hostage Song.

The final show in the season will be the UK premiere of Noel Coward's This Was A Man, a look at adultery among the middle classes that was originally banned by the Lord Chamberlain. Directed by actress Belinda Lang, it runs from 15 July to 2 August 2014.
