Lea Anderson’s all-male troupe The Featherstonehaughs will tour the UK this autumn on its own for the first time in 12 years. The tour features the new work Edits alongside the return of The Featherstonehaughs Draw on the Sketch Books of Egon Schiele which was created in 1998 and which brings to life the tormented artistic vision of Austrian expressionist. The new Edits continues Anderson’s use of filmic conventions in dance.

Lea Anderson formed all-female The Cholmondeleys 1984 after graduating from the Laban Centre, with the all-male Featherstonehaughs arriving in 1988. She has won three consecutive Digital Dance Awards, a Time Out/01 for London Award, and a London Dance and Performance Award. Anderson was awarded an MBE for her services to dance and is an Honorary Doctorate of Arts from the Dartington College of Arts.

The Featherstonehaughs tour dates include Easteigh, Maidenhead, Birmingham, Nottingham, Swansea, and London. The tour starts on 18 September in Huddersfield.
