Exclusive: First listen to Dan Gillespie Sells' Everybody's Talking About Jamie

The first song from the premiere of Dan Gillespie Sells' new musical Everybody's Talking About Jamie has been released.

The studio recording of "Don't Even Know It" features The Feeling frontman singing the track from the musical which he has written new songs for. He has worked alongside Doctor Who writer Tom MacRae, whose previous theatre credits include The Crash of the Elysium.

Sells has tweeted that he is currently working on a studio album of the musical.

Everybody's Talking About Jamie is about 16 year-old Sheffield boy Jamie who doesn't fit in at school and is trying to find his feet after his Dad's left home.

It will star John McCrea (The Busker's Opera) as the title character when it opens at Sheffield Crucible in February.

Everybody's Talking About Jamie runs at Sheffield Crucible from 13 to 25 February with previews from 8 February.
