Balletboyz Michael Nunn and William Trevitt debut their much-anticipated new company of 18-24-year-old young men on 4 March at The Point in Eastleigh, Hampshire.
The company, which includes one dancer with no formal training, was handpicked from 50 applicants by the former Royal Ballet Nunn and Trevitt who mentored and coached the fledgling performers.
The programme includes Torison, originally made for Nunn and Trevitt by choreographer Russell Maliphant, plus two new pieces, by Freddie Opoku Addaie, associate artist at The Royal Opera House 2, and Paul Roberts, who has roots in ballet and contemporary dance. The 11-venue tour runs from 4 to 28 March and includes The Lowry in Salford and the Corn Exchange in Kingl’s Lynn.
