The show will be broadcast on BBC2 from the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon on the Bard's birthday, 23 April 2016.

Further details of the project are to be announced.

The Royal Shakespeare Company has also announced today that it will take its upcoming cycle of history plays to China, as well as New York's Brooklyn Academy of Music.
