Danielle Steers joins cast of ”Fury and Elysium” musical at the Other Palace

Danielle Steers (The Cher Show, Six) has been revealed as the final cast member to join those previously announced for Fury and Elysium at the Other Palace Studio this summer.

Steers will take on the role of Kitty, joining Iz Hesketh (as Anita), Rosie Yadid (as Valeska), Ashley Goh (as Claire), Maya Kristal Tenenbaum (as Gabrielle), and Michal Horowicz (as Rosa). Charlotte Clitherow will serve as a swing/standby.

The Weimar-era, Berlin-based musical explores the fight for artistic freedom against the rise of fascism.

Directed by Rafaella Marcus and Karoline Gable, the production is a celebration of queer culture and the lives of three Jewish women, each from different worlds of expressionist art, political activism, and drag king performance.

The show features a book by Stephanie Martin, based on an original idea by Patrick Ehmcke-Kennedy and Martin, and a score by singer-songwriter Calista Kazuko Georget.

Produced by Tanya Truman Productions, Fury and Elysium runs from 6 to 18 June in the Other Palace Studio.
