The West End revival of Chicago has announced further dates for its run.
The show opens at the Phoenix Theatre on 11 April, with previews from 26 March, and is now booking to 6 October 2018. Chicago's cast for the booking period from 26 March to 30 June is led by Cuba Gooding Jr, Sarah Soetaert, Josefina Gabrielle, Ruthie Hensall and Paul Rider. The cast for the extension is yet to be announced.
The show announced its return to London following a five and a half year absence late last year. The show originally ran in London for 15 years, opening at the Adelphi Theatre in 1997.
Kander and Ebb's musical won six Tony Awards, two Olivier Awards and a Grammy. It tells the story of a young woman, Roxie, who is incarcerated and put on trial for murdering a man in her bedroom.
Chicago runs from 11 April to 6 October, with previews from 26 March.
