Charlie Condou to star in The Rocky Horror Show UK tour

The ”Coronation Street” actor will appear alongside Georgia May Foote and Philip Franks

Cast changes for the UK tour of The Rocky Horror Show has been announced.

The role of The Narrator will be played by a number of actors throughout the tour: Coronation Street's Charlie Condou, Philip Franks who is best known for appearing in Darling Buds of May, and Punt and Dennis star Steve Punt.

Strictly Come Dancing's Georgia May Foote, recently seen in the UK tour of Breakfast at Tiffany's, will join the production in December as Colombia during a three-week residency at the New Theatre in Oxford.

Paul Cattermole of S Club 7 and The Voice's Liam Tamne will continue as Eddie/Dr Scott and Dr Frank N Furter respectively.

The title role of Rocky will be played by Dominic Andersen, whilst Janet will be played by Haley Flaherty and Sophie Linder-Lee. The cast is completed by Kristian Lavercombe as Riff Raff and Richard Meek as Brad.

Christopher Luscombe directs Richard O'Brien's show which will run at His Majesty's Theatre, Aberdeen in September, before heading to Norwich, Eastbourne, Blackpool, Dublin, Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds, Sunderland, Bath, Cardiff and Oxford.

The Rocky Horror Show runs at His Majesty's Theatre, Aberdeen from 5 September before embarking on a UK tour.
