Liam Garrigan, Daniel Mays, Tim Steed and Susannah Wise will star in the upcoming production of E.V. Crowe’s Hero at the Royal Court.
Directed by Jeremy Herrin, the play runs in the Theatre Downstairs from 29 November (previews from 23 November).

Liam Garrigan (Danny) and Daniel Mays (Jamies) will reunite, having played brothers in Moonlight at the Donmar Warehouse. Garrigan’s other theatre credits include The Anniversary and The Honeymoon Suite. Mays’ other credits include, at the Royal Court, Scarborough, Motortown, The Winterling, Ladybird, Just a Bloke and The One with the Oven. His screen credits include Mrs Biggs, The Street and Ashes to Ashes.
Tim Steed’s credits include The Pride, Rocket to the Moon and Much Ado About Nothing. He will play Danny’s partner Joe. Susannah Wise’s recent credits include A Doll’s House at the Young Vic and The Holy Rosenbergs at the National Theatre. She will play Jamie’s partner Lisa.
Hero, which is part of the Royal Court’s Jerwood New Playwrights programme, runs at the Royal Court Theatre until 22 December 2012.
