We popped into Hoxton Hall to get a look at Lil Warren and Jo Collins' new musical, Oranges and Elephants.

Directed by Susie McKenna, the show tells the story of two Victorian gangs in London and blends music hall with musical theatre. When Mary arrives in London intent on becoming a music hall star, two gangs want to own her.

The cast feaures Kate Adams, Rebecca Bainbridge, Susannah van den Berg, Rosalind Ford, Liz Kitchen, Natasha Lewis, Sinead Long, Kate Marlais, Christina Tedders and Sarah J Warren.

The show is the first in the theatre's spring season, Female Parts, which also includes a trio of short monologues which will run through March and A Mother and A Woman Alone by Franca Rame and Dario Fo.

Oranges and Elephants runs at Hoxton Hall until 10 February.
