A quartet of stage and screen stars join the award-winning play
New casting has been revealed for the second leg of the spooky thriller 2:22 A Ghost Story, as the show continues on its first ever tour.
Joining the show from 5 January 2024 will be Vera Chok (Hollyoaks, Cobra) as Lauren, Jay McGuiness (band member in The Wanted, Big the Musical) as Ben, Fiona Wade (Emmerdale, Silent Witness) as Jenny and George Rainsford (Call the Midwife, Casualty) as Sam.
Danny Robins’ WhatsOnStage Award-winning thriller kicked off its tour last month, with the current cast (composed of Louisa Lytton, Joe Absolom, Charlene Boyd and Nathaniel Curtis) performing in venues across the UK until 2 December 2023.
The tour is directed by Matthew Dunster and Isabel Marr, with set design by Anna Fleischle, costume design by Cindy Lin, lighting design by Lucy Carter, sound by Ian Dickinson for Autograph Sound and illusions by Chris Fisher. Casting is by Matilda James.
In 2023, the show will visit Brighton, Salford, Leicester, Belfast, Glasgow and Plymouth. The new cast will commence their run in Northampton, with the show then visiting Birmingham, Cardiff, Wycombe, Chichester, Sheffield, Wolverhampton, Aberdeen, Cambridge, Bromley, Richmond, Liverpool, Woking, Truro, Blackpool, York, Nottingham, Hull, Sunderland and Bradford.
