We dropped in on rehearsals for Pure Imagination to find out more about the show opening at the St James Theatre next week.

We dropped in on rehearsals for Pure Imagination, a show celebrating the songs of Leslie Bricusse.

The cast features Dave Willetts (Les Miserables, Phantom), Siobhan McCarthy (Sweeney Todd, Mamma Mia!), Niall Sheehy (ITV's Superstar), Julie Atherton (Avenue Q, Sister Act) and Giles Terera (The Book of Mormon).

Bricusse is a double Oscar and Grammy Award winner who has composed over 1,000 songs including "What Kind Of Fool Am I", "If I Ruled The World", "Talk To The Animals", "Feeling Good", "Goldfinger" and "Pure Imagination".

Produced by Danielle Tarento and directed by Christopher Renshaw, the creative team also includes Michael England (musical director/orchestrator), Matthew Cole (musical staging), Tim Goodchild (production design), Derek Anderson (lighting design), Mike Thacker (sound design) and Victor Craven (projection design).

Pure Imagination runs at the St James Theatre from 24 September to 17 October 2015.
