A brand new immersive show The Time Travellers' Ball will open at the tailor-made new venue The Buzz in south London.

The 90-minute immersive experience will see audiences travel through the decades from the 1920s to the 1970s, with dance and decadence along the way. Punters are advised to dress glamorously in clothes from a decade of their choice.

The Buzz is a purpose-built immersive theatre space in Elephant and Castle, which sits inside the Mercato Metropolitano retail hub.

Written and directed by Richard Lewis, The Time Travellers' Ball has design by Tom Paris, choreography by Jacquie Storey, lighting design by Peter Small, sound design by Brvnjes and associate direction by Hannah Ellis.

Co-producer, Emma Brünjes said: "We're thrilled to welcome you all to The Time Travellers' Ball, a show we've created specifically to open our new venue, The Buzz. Be prepared to laugh, cry and, of course, dance! We can't wait to see you in your finery, to sup a cocktail or three and – importantly – to escape through time."

The show runs from 28 November to 17 February, with tickets priced from £23.

The piece will replace Thunderbirds: Beyond the Horizon, which has been postponed until next year.
