Oliver Tompsett and Debbie Kurup star in Kander and Ebb revue

”The World Goes Round: The Songs of Kander & Ebb” will run at the Pheasantry for four nights only

Oliver Tompsett (Wicked, We Will Rock You) and Debbie Kurup (Anything Goes, The Bodyguard) will lead the cast of Kander and Ebb revue The World Goes Round at the Pheasantry.

Playing for four nights only from 5 to 8 July, the show is devised by Scott Ellis, Susan Stroman and David Thompson and premiered off-Broadway in 1991. This production is produced by Neil Eckersley with musical direction by Kris Rawlinson.

The rest of the cast includes Steffan Lloyd-Evans, Alexandra Da Silva and Sally Samad.

John Kander and Fred Ebb are best known for shows such as Chicago, Cabaret, Kiss of the Spider-Woman and The Scottsboro Boys. The revue features songs including "All That Jazz", "Cabaret", "New York, New York" and "Mister Cellophane".

The World Goes Round: The Songs of Kander & Ebb runs at the Pheasantry in Chelsea from 5-8 July 2015.
