Iwan Rheon will star in the West End production of Dawn King's Foxfinder, which opens at the Ambassadors Theatre in the West End in September.

Directed by Rachel O'Riordan (who recently oversaw the Olivier Award-winning production of Gary Owen's Killology), King's show is set in a dystopic world where paranoia reigns and foxes are symbols of dissent and hatred. Only the mysterious Foxfinders can prevent the fox corruption from spreading.

King's Papatango Prize-winning play was first produced at the Finborough Theatre in 2011, being named one of The Independent''s top five plays of the year. King went on to win the National Theatre Foundation Playwright Award in 2013 and was shortlisted for the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize and the James Tait Black drama prize.

The show marks Rheon's return to the London stage, with his credits including the original London production of Spring Awakening in 2009 (for which he won an Olivier Award) and Remembrance Day at the Royal Court. His screen credits include Ramsey Bolton in Game of Thrones and Simon in Misfits.

Foxfinder is designed by Gary McCann with lighting design by Paul Anderson. Simon Slater is composer and sound designer for the production.
