The ”Game of Thrones” and ”Victoria” performers opened their two-hander in London
Natalie Dormer and David Oakes, stars of the West End premiere of Venus in Fur, celebrated opening night last night with other creatives and stars in London.
Ophelia Lovibond, Tom Hughes, Samuel West and Laura Wade were among the theatre stars at the after show party. The piece, which opened to mixed reviews, is written by David Ives and focuses on a director/playwright and an actress who has come to audition for him.
Dormer plays Vanda Jordan, the mysterious actress who seems perfect for the role in Thomas' (Oakes) play.
WhatsOnStage called Dormer a 'gem of a performer', in the review of the show.
Venus in Fur runs at the Theatre Royal Haymarket until 9 December.
