Dervla Kirwan and Joseph Millson join cast of Mr Foote's Other Leg

The production, which stars Simon Russell Beale, opens at the Hampstead Theatre in September

Dervla Kirwan and Joseph Millson will join Simon Russell Beale in Mr Foote's Other Leg at Hampstead Theatre, which opens on 14 September.

Ian Kelly's new adaptation from his book of the same name will be directed by Richard Eyre, and it tells the story of Samuel Foote, a satirist and actor who proved an early exponent of celebrity culture.

Dervla Kirwan has stage credits including The Weir (Donmar Warehouse), Uncle Vanya and Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune (Chichester Festival Theatre). Joseph Millson has starred in Macbeth at Shakespeare's Globe, and his other credits include Rocket to the Moon (National Theatre) and Love Never Dies (West End).

They are joined by by Micah Balfour, Sophie Bleasdale, Joshua Elliott, Jenny Galloway, Ian Kelly, Forbes Masson and Colin Stinton.

Mr Foote's Other Leg runs at Hampstead Theatre from 14 September to 17 October 2015.
