Craig Revel Horwood and Diana Vickers celebrate opening of Son of a Preacher Man

Craig Revel Horwood and the cast of Son of a Preacher Man celebrated the launch of the UK tour of the show last night.

The new musical features the music of Dusty Springfield and follows a pop group called the Cappuccino Sisters who try to invoke the magic and myth of a 1960s Soho club owned by a figure called The Preacher Man.

The show stars Diana Vickers, Debra Stephenson and Ian Reddington, has a book from Warner Brown and Revel Horwood directs and choreographs. Songs included in the piece are "The Look of Love", "I Only Want to Be With You" and the titular song.

Son of a Preacher Man runs at Churchill Theatre, Bromley until 9 September and then tours the UK until May 2018.
