Cast: West End Charles III, Sheffield Twelfth Night, Sophie Ward in Flowers of the Forest
Tim Piggott-Smith and Oliver Chris will reprise their roles in King Charles III'
Full casting has been confirmed for the upcoming West End transfer of King Charles III, Mike Bartlett's futuristic satire that imagines the ascension of Prince Charles to the throne.
Tim Pigott-Smith will once again play Charles and Oliver Chris will reprise his role as William. They will be joined by Katie Brayben, Richard Goulding, Nyasha Hatendi, Adam James, Margot Leicester, Miles Richardson, Tom Robertson, Nicholas Rowe, Tafline Steen and Lydia Wilson.
Rupert Goold's production opens at Wyndham's Theatre on 11 September (previews from 2 September), for a limited run to 29 November 2014.
Sheffield Theatres and English Touring Theatre have announced the cast for their upcoming co-production of Twelfth Night.
The production, which is directed by Jonathan Munby, runs in the Sheffield Crucible from 23 September 2014 (previews from 18 September) to 18 October ahead of a UK tour.
The cast are: Michael Benz (Sebastian), Christopher Chilton (Sea Captain/Priest), Jonathan Christie (Valentine/Officer 2), Doña Croll (Maria), Jake Fairbrother (Duke Orsino), David Fielder (Sir Toby Belch), Colm Gormley (Fabian), Ben Hall (Curio/Officer 1), Rebecca Johnson (Olivia), Brian Protheroe (Feste), Rose Reynolds (Viola), Hugh Ross (Malvolio), Milo Twomey (Sir Andrew Aguecheek), and Ross Waiton (Antonio).
The play is set in the luxury London home of a married couple in 1934, who are prompted to recall the horrors of World War One by an unexpected visitor.
That cast of Anthony Biggs' production will also feature Patrick Drury, Daniel Fine, Gareth McLeod, Debra Penny, Victoria Rigby, Mark Straker, Alwyne Taylor, Gabriel Vick and Max Wilson.
