This week we've had the press night for Matthew Bourne's Sleeping Beauty at Sadler's Wells with VIP guests including pop legend Annie Lennox, theatrical power couple Adrian Lester and Lolita Chakrabarti and Wicked creator Stephen Schwartz.

Next up was the West End transfer of Martin McDonagh's Hangmen from the Royal Court to Wyndham's Theatre. McDonagh was there alongside new cast member Andy Nyman and guests including Hotel Rwanda star Sophie Okonedo.

On Wednesday, Academy Award-winner Jim Broadbent opened as Scrooge in A Christmas Carol at the Noel Coward Theatre, and Mischief Theatre opened their second West End show, Peter Pan Goes Wrong, just round the corner at the Apollo.
