Photos: Leona Lewis Meets Star of Sister Act

Leona Lewis paid a visit to Sister Act at the London Palladium this week (27 October). It was one of the pop singer’s first outings since an incident earlier this month in which she was allegedly assaulted at a public book signing.

The X Factor star took time out after the show to pop backstage and meet fellow singer Patina Miller, who plays Deloris Van Cartier in the musical, the role created on screen by Whoopi Goldberg.

Speaking to Sky News recently Lewis said the incident, which took place at a Waterstone’s bookshop a fortnight ago, “could have been worse”, adding “I’m still alive, it’s just something you have to deal with when you have fame and the positives far outweigh the negatives.”
