1. Where/when were you born?
I was born long ago when Queen Victoria was still on the throne (though she was an old old lady). I don't know exactly WHERE I was born. My mother didn't tell me.
2. What is your earliest memory?
I am absolutely certain that I looked up into my Mother's eyes while she cradled me in her arms.
3. What's your philosophy of life?
I feel you have to look out for yourself in this life and if you don't have anyone to fight your battles for you, then you have to fight them yourself. I'm also very painfully aware of the importance of family.
4. Best advice you've ever been given?
The stern matrons at the Foundling Hospital gave us advice every single day. I learnt to take no notice and listen to my own heart.
5. What's your favourite part of the travelling circus show?
I love Madame Adeline's incredibly exciting equestrienne act. I was so dazzled when she picked me to perform with her and called me her little star.
6. What's your proudest achievement?
I'm proud of being able to read. My dear foster brother Jem taught me my letters when I was very little and now I can forget all about the strict and stifling routine of the Foundling Hospital when I read. I can also write my own memoirs to record all the days of my life.
7. If you could swap places with anyone for a day, who would it be?
Oh, Madame Adeline, without a doubt.
8. You've had many adventures in your life so far – what's the most memorable?
There have been many memorable adventures – but I think the best is yet to come!
9. What would you like to be when you grow up?
I would like to be a circus star. I'm 100 percent certain I don't want to be a servant, though they are training me to be one at the Foundling Hospital.
10. How does it feel to be a West End star?
Oh my, it's wonderful! Perhaps I am a real star at last.
