Following the production which involves audience participation, stair tumbles and energetic performances from all the cast we were joined by Owain Arthur, Jodie Prenger, Gemma Whelan, Daniel Ings, Ben Mansfield and Martin Barras for even more entertainment at our post show Q&A.
All the cast shared their excitement at being involved in the production as well as some of the challenges of taking over from such an acclaimed original cast. Owain Arthur who was discovered for the stage whilst working at a hot dog stand talked about some of the more amusing audience moments; and we learned about onstage accidents including when Gemma Whelan slipped on spilt soup and had to backwards roll off the stage; while Martin Barras admitted that falling down the stairs can actually be addictive.
