Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family - a man her parents have never met. And if that weren't upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he's never done before - keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday's 'normal' boyfriend and his parents.

The stage has always been my first love. Let me put that another way. I have never done anything like this before in my life. However, to travel from town to town addressing a fabulous gathering of like-minded chums each night seems to me exactly what Shakespeare would have done had not the hefty rent at The Globe kept him in London. As a consequence, William Shakespeare toured about as frequently as Kate Bush. Well not me. I own very few theatres anymore and so I am now totally free to charge about here and there wowing the folks with my anecdotal back catalogue, games involving sausages and impressive six octave range.

No introduction needed. Star of Lee and Herring's Fist of Fun and This Morning with Richard Not Judy, writer of Al Murray's Time Gentlemen Please, Richard Herring is simply brilliant - a comedy genius.
In his twelfth solo stand up show, Richard Herring examines whether we are can ever hope to be, or are meant to be, truly content. After years of drifting aimlessly and alone, Richard Herring is now settled down with a wife and a tiny baby. Is he finally happy now? Or does responsibility for the lives of others come with its own terrors? If we were never unhappy would happiness have any meaning? Why do our brains force us to envision the worst possible outcomes even on a day when everything seems fine. How likely is it that Richard's baby will be skewered by a stalactite of frozen urine falling from a plane and is it really worth him wasting his time thinking about it? Does being happy mean a comedian loses his edge and true belly laughs only come from depression? How much pressure was there on Happy the dwarf to live up to his name? Is there any system that will guarantee us eternal bliss or should we just embrace the fact that life is a vale of tears and our only option is to laugh in its face?
More boisterous energy and boyish charm than a zoo full of chimps. Star of the wonderful Big and Daft sketch trio who've been a darling of the Edinburgh Fringe for three successive years.
He's married, has two kids, a dog and an eye-watering mortgage, (is in debt) in these times of austerity and uncertainty, but remains resolute that a career in unpredictable world of comedy was absolutely the right way to go. (It's far too late to try something else now.) Rob takes this trademark comedic storytelling to a career high in this full length show, as he leads us on an irresistibly hilarious journey of enforced introspection, that has taught him to relinquish any attempts to control his life and to face down literally one of the most awkward situations you're ever likely to hear about. Most definitely a middle-aged bloke Rob happily holds his hands up as being about as 'un-sexy' as it's possible to be in terms of broad brush 'Key Marketing Demographics', but as a stand-up, he is in the form of his life.

When a hungry dragon appears, who will save the poor witch? And will there ever be room on the broom for everyone? Songs, laughs and scary fun for children aged 3 and up (and their grown-ups), adapted from the book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, creators of The Gruffalo.

Part of The Little Greats: Short operas with huge emotions
Bernstein's Trouble in Tahiti, another example from that great composer of the fusion of popular and operatic musical styles, concerns the domestic life of an archetypal all-American husband and wife. The Jazz Trio spends the opera singing the praises of Suburbia as the new American paradise, but what goes on inside the home is far from perfect. The husband, Sam, has a questionable relationship with his secretary, goes to the gym instead of watching his son's play, would do anything to put off the moment of coming home to his wife. Dinah sees a shrink, is desperately unhappy, and loses herself by going alone to the pictures, to see Trouble in Tahiti - a film which she recognises is ridiculous but at least offers her some form of escape.
Sung in English. Playing as part of 'The Little Greats: Short operas with huge emotions' as a double bill on some dates with Osud, Trial by Jury or Cavalleria rusticana.
