Oliver Savile and Ashleigh Gray to star in new production of Company

Derek Anderson will direct the new production at Aberdeen Arts Centre

Casting has been announced for a new production of Stephen Sondheim's Company, which opens at Aberdeen Arts Centre in February.

Wicked stars Oliver Savile, Ashleigh Gray, Suzie Mathers and Jaqueline Hughes will play Bobby, Amy, Kathy and Sarah in the production directed by Derek Anderson.

They will be joined by Anita Louise Combe as Joanne, Simbi Akande as Martha, Kimberly Blake as Jenny, Stephen John Davis as Larry, Wayne Fitzsimmons as David, Jennifer Harding as April, Lisa Anne-Wood as Susan and Barnaby Thompson as Peter.

Sondheim's musical, which has a book by George Furth, explores modern relationships and won six Tony Awards when it opened on Broadway in 1970. This new production will have choreography by Lee Crowley, design by Nik Corall and musical direction by Nick Barstow.

Songs from the show include "Marry Me A Little", "You Could Drive a Person Crazy" and "Being Alive".

Company runs at Aberdeen Arts Centre from 1 to 10 February 2018.
