Club 11 London has announced that Glee star Matthew Morrison will play three solo concerts at the Hippodrome Casino next month.

The intimate performances will take place at the Leicester Square venue on 16 May (8pm and 11pm) and 17 May (11pm).

Best known for his Emmy Award-winning performance as Mr Schuester in musical comedy TV series Glee, Morrison has theatre credits including James Graham and Gary Barlow's Finding Neverland on Broadway, South Pacific and Light in the Piazza.

Morrison is the latest in a line of Glee stars to perform in London; Dianna Agron (Quinn Fabray) starred in McQueen, Jonathan Groff (Jesse St. James) performed in Deathtrap, and Amber Riley (Mercedes Jones) is currently starring in Dreamgirls.

On coming to London, Morrison said: "London holds a very special place in my heart. It’s a city I love exploring and drawing inspiration from. There’s a sense of nostalgia and longing that this city brings to me, and a lot of the music I’ll be performing holds that same sentiment."
