Kinky Boots announces West End extension

Kinky Boots has announced a West End extension, which takes the booking period to 6 May 2017.
The Olivier and WhatsOnStage Award-winning show celebrated its first birthday this week, after it opened in the West End last year. The new cast have also now begun their run, with David Hunter replacing Killian Donnelly as Charlie and Elena Skye taking over from Amy Lennox as Lauren. Matt Henry continues in the role of Lola.
The show is the creation of Harvey Fierstein and Cyndi Lauper and is an adaptation of the British film starring Chiwetel Ejiofor about a shoe-maker from Northampton who starts making shoes for drag queens. Direction and choreography is from Jerry Mitchell.
Kinky Boots runs at the Adelphi Theatre until 6 May 2017.
