Casting announced for Jerry's Girls at St James Theatre

Anna-Jane Casey, Ria Jones and Sarah-Louise Young will star in the revue which celebrates Jerry Herman

Anna-Jane Casey, Ria Jones and Sarah-Louise Young will be Jerry's Girls in the musical revue celebrating the life of Jerry Herman at the St James Theatre.

The show, which features songs from Herman's classic musicals including Hello, Dolly!, Mame and La Cage Aux Folles, runs for two weeks at the venue from 3-15 March 2015.

Created by Herman and his collaborator Larry Alford in 1981, Jerry's Girls "celebrates Jerry’s special gift for writing songs that capture the true spirit of the great American musical".

Anna-Jane Casey was most recently in Forbidden Broadway at the Menier Chocolate Factory and in the West End, and her other credits include Billy Elliot, Spamalot and Chicago.

Ria Jones has stage credits including Cats, Les Miserables and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. Sarah-Louise Young is known for her cabaret work, including her solo shows Julie Madly Deeply and Cabaret Whore.

Jerry's Girls is directed by Kate Golledge, with choreography by Matthew Cole and musical direction from Edward Court. It runs at the St James Studio from 3-15 March 2015.
