As part of her week as guest editor of WhatsOnStage, Indhu Rubasingham interviewed playwright James Graham to talk about his work, politics and their home town of Mansfield.

Graham's plays include This House, Privacy, The Angry Brigade and Ink, which is currently playing at the Almeida. His next new play, Labour of Love opens at the Noel Coward Theatre in September.

During the interview, the pair talk about their special shared connection, how Graham began writing political theatre and the playwright's views on the current political landscape in Britain.
