The ”Frozen” and ”Wicked” star will play venues including Wembley Arena in June 2015

Idina Menzel has announced UK and Ireland dates for her upcoming world tour, which will begin in Dublin on 20 June 2015.

The musical theatre star, whose credits include originating the roles of Elphaba in Wicked, Maureen in Rent and Elizabeth in If/Then, also voiced Elsa in hit Disney film Frozen.

She will play Birmingham's Symphony Hall on 22 June 2015, Manchester's Apollo on 23 June, Glasgow's Royal Concert Hall on 24 June, Bournemouth International Centre on 26 June and Wembley Arena in London on 27 June 2015.

Menzel has also just released her Christmas album Holiday Wishes, which features among others a duet of "Baby It's Cold Outside" with Michael Bublé, plus festive classics "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas", "All I Want For Christmas Is You" and "White Christmas".
