Winners of the 16th Annual WhatsOnStage Awards celebrated last night after a live awards ceremony in London.

Benedict Cumberbatch took home Best Actor in a Play for his performance in Hamlet, while Nicole Kidman won the award for Best Actress in a Play for her role in Photograph 51.

The awards were presented by Steve Furst at the Prince of Wales Theatre. As well as acceptance speeches, the audience were treated to performances from the cast of Les Miserables, Matt Henry from Kinky Boots (who also won an award for Best Actor in a Musical) and Pixie Lott, who will soon open in Breakfast at Tiffany's.
