Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead starring Daniel Radcliffe extends

There is an extra week in which to catch Daniel Radcliffe and Joshua McGuire on stage at the Old Vic

David Leveaux's production of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead is to extend at the Old Vic.

The production was due to finish at the end of April but will continue until 6 May.

Daniel Radcliffe and Joshua McGuire star in Tom Stoppard's existential play which follows two peripheral characters from Shakespeare's Hamlet as they encounter other characters from the piece.

David Haig also stars as The Player alongside Louisa Beadel, William Chubb, Josie Dunn, Matthew Durkan, Tim van Eyken, Wil Johnson, Hermeilio Miguel Aquino, Luke Mullins, Theo Ogundipe, Marianne Oldham, Evlyne Oyedokun, Alex Sawyer and Helena Wilson.

The show opened at the Old Vic at the beginning of March and was hailed by WhatsOnStage reviewer Sarah Crompton as "astonishingly funny", calling Radcliffe's Rosencrantz "a revelation".

The production marks the 50th anniversary of the play. Tickets for the extra week are now on sale.

Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead runs at the Old Vic until 6 May.
