The new season at the National Theatre's Shed will include the return of Nadia Fall's acclaimed show Home, a play based on Finnegan's Wake, riverrun, and a one woman play from Michaela Coel, Chewing Gum Dreams.

Nadia Fall's Home returns to the venue from 26 March to 30 April 2014 following a sold out run in August 2013. Asking what it really means to call somewhere home, the play brings to life the unheard voices of the young residents and staff who live and work behind the anonymous concrete walls of an inner city high-rise hostel.

riverrun, a new adaptation of the voice of the river in James Joyce's Finnegans Wake performed by Olwen Fouéré runs from 11 to 22 March 2014, and is presented by Irish theatre company TheEmergencyRoom, in association with the Galway Arts Festival.

This is followed by one-woman play Chewing Gum Dreams, written and performed by Michaela Coel, which runs from 17 March to 6 April 2014. Coel was in the original cast of Home, and will appear in Blurred Lines later this year. Based on Coel's own experiences growing up in Hackney, Chewing Grum Dreams "recalls those last days of innocence before adulthood", and comes to the Southbank following a run at the Royal Exchange Theatre last year.

Public booking for the season opens on 10 January.
