Paint Your Wagon at Everyman Liverpool: first look photos

We have a first look at the Everyman rep company

Returning after their award-winning season last year, the Liverpool Everyman rep company returns for its second year of performances with a revival of 1951 musical Paint Your Wagon.

Directed by the venue's artistic director Gemma Bodinetz, the musical follows a gold prospector ostracised by his community. It made its West End premiere in 1953, and was adapted into a film in 1969 with the same name.

The piece will mark Bodinetz's second musical since launching the rep company, after her production of Fiddler on the Roof at the venue last year. The company stars Marc Elliott, Patrick Brennan and Emily Hughes, all of whom will return for the other shows in the season – A Clockwork Orange, Othello and The Big I Am, a reimagining of Peer Gynt.

Paint Your Wagon runs from 7 March to 15 July with previews from now.
