Full House Productions visit New Brighton with Forever In Blue Jeans, promising a fun-filled evening of entertainment which features “feel good” hits from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s through to the best of today .
 
The new production begins in the 1950s and 1960s with rock 'n' roll favourites from Jerry Lee Lewis and Brenda Lee to The Beatles and The Monkeys.

Blue Jeans celebrate 50 years of Motown Magic which takes in hits from The Four Tops,  The Jackson 5,  Diana Ross and a host of other Motown favourites. The Carpenters , Showaddywaddy and Abba bring us into the 1970s and just in case there’s any cowboys out there we take a trip into the silver screen and visit Oklahoma and those seven brides for seven brothers.

A stunning piece pays tribute to the songwriting talents of the legendary Burt Bacharach, and includes his many number one hits I’ll Never fall In Love Again, What The World Needs Now ( Is Love Sweet Love ) Do You Know The Way To San Jose and the memorable What’s New Pussycat. The show ends with everyone invited to the party for the Grand Finale !
 
The energetic company is led by TV and radio recording artistes Carole Gordon and Bob Newman, who are the producers of the show Voice Of The Heart – Karen Carpenter which sees Carole in the leading role.
 
Also starring three vocalists and dancers, Rachel Cantrell, who featured in the children’s West End musical Casper. Dominic Banks who has appeared in a variety of productions ranging from Evita to High School Musical and finally Paul Leno a talented young man who has cruised the world and starred in productions of Grease and Mary Poppins.
 
The talented Red Hot Blue Jeans Band perform instrumentals throughout the show with musical director Chris Burgess on drums and percussion, Derek Thurlby on steel, lead guitar and vocals, Paul Bebington on keyboards, fiddle and vocals and the producer Bob Newman is on bass and vocals.

The show visits the Floral Pavilion Theatre on Wednesday 25th August at 7.30pm.
