Further casting has been announced for the UK tour of The Producers with Phill Jupitus sharing the role of Franz Liebkind with the previously announced Ross Noble, and Olivier Award-winning David Bedella playing the flamboyant director Roger De Bris.

They join the previously announced Jason Manford as timid accountant Leo Bloom, and dancer, choreographer and television personality Louie Spence who plays De Bris' assistant Carmen Ghia. Broadway and West End star Cory English reprises his role as Max Bialystoc and Tiffany Graves joins the company as Ulla, the object of Leo Bloom’s affections.

Completing the cast are Abigail Brodie, Jaye Elster, Rebecca Fennelly, Olivia Fines, Andrew Gordon-Watkins, Fenton Gray, Aime Hodnett, Paul Hutton, Nia Jermin, Joel Montague, Genevieve Nicole, Tosh Wanogho-Maud, Jay Webb, Russell Wilcox and Aron Wild.

Based on Mel Brooks’ beloved Academy Award winning movie, The Producers is a musical comedy that has taken Broadway and the West End by storm, winning a record-breaking 12 Tony Awards and 3 Olivier Awards. Impoverished by a string of flops, New York producer Max Bialystock recruits downtrodden accountant Leo Bloom to help him pull off Broadway's greatest scam. Together they aim to produce the worst show in history and run away to Rio with millions, but they learn that Showbusiness can always find a way to kick you in the teeth.

The Producers opens at the Churchill Theatre, Bromley from 6 to 14 March 2015, before visiting venues including Manchester, Edinburgh, Milton Keynes, Birmingham, Bristol, Liverpool, Leeds, Glasgow and Dublin.
