The Chichester Festival Theatre has announced full casting for The Resistable Rise of Arturo Ui, which will be revived at the Minerva Theatre from 11 to 28 July (previews from 29 June). CFT artistic director Jonathan Church directs Bertolt Brecht's 1941 parable about the rise of Hitler. As previously announced, Henry Goodman will play the title role.

Joining the star, who played Sir Humphrey Appleby in the 2010 CFT production of Yes, Prime Minister and its West End transfer, are Keith Baxter, Michael Feast, William Gaunt and Joe McGann. Lizzie McInnerny will be making her Chichester debut in the role of Betty Dullfoot.

The cast also includes Mark Carlisle, Alex Giannini, Amanda Gordon, Charlie Hamblett, Peter Moreton, James Northcote, Rolf Saxon, Colin Stinton, David Sturzaker and Steve Simmonds.

Chichester has also announced that Dennis Potter's Blue Remembered Hills will play at the Theatre on the Fly from 26 June to 14 July. Anna Ledwich directs.

Originally written for television and screened in 1979, the play is set on a summer's day during the Second World War. It concerns a group of seven-year-olds (played by adult actors) whose innocent play becomes tinged with darkness as the children begin to turn against one other.

The cast includes Gary Beadle, who is best known for playing the character of Paul Trueman in EastEnders between 2001 and 2004. Also featured are Ryan Early, Leila Farzad, Richard Frame, Gregory Gudgeon, Daniel Rabin and Laura Rogers.

The show is designed by Andrew D Edwards, with lighting design by Richard Howell.
