Poppy Gilbert

Poppy can be seen as Cecelia in Netflix’s MY OXFORD YEAR, and will soon be seen as Elizabeth Bennet in the BBC’s THE OTHER BENNET SISTER. On stage, she recently starred in WEDDING BAND at the Lyric Hammersmith, directed by Monique Touko, and played Desdemona in OTHELLO at The Globe.

Poppy previously led Channel 5’s drama THE CATCH opposite Jason Watkins and Aneurin Barnard, played Chloe in BBC One’s CHLOE, and starred as Barbie in Netflix’s STAY CLOSE. Other credits include PERFECT ADDITION, SHERWOOD, LEONARDO, THE PALE HORSE, and guest appearances on THE CHELSEA DETECTIVE, CALL THE MIDWIFE, and MIDSOMER MURDERS.
