Charlie Stemp is a British actor and dancer known for his vibrant stage presence and remarkable talent in musical theatre. Born on September 3, 1993, in Bromley, England, Stemp gained prominence for his breakout role as Arthur Kipps in Cameron Mackintosh’s production of Half a Sixpence at the Chichester Festival Theatre in 2016. His performance earned him widespread acclaim, leading to a WhatsOnStage Award win and a Laurence Olivier Award nomination for Best Actor in a Musical when the production moved to the West End.

Stemp’s career continued to grow with leading roles in other notable productions such as Barnaby Tucker in Hello, Dolly! opposite Bernadette Peters on Broadway in 2018, Susan Stroman’s production of Crazy for You, and Bartlett Sher’s Kiss Me, Kate at the Barbican Theatre.
