About the Show

This is an affectionate look at the National Health Service with special reference to Suningsby Surgery which, like the NHS in general, has its share of problems. Too many patients and not enough doctors for a start. The Practice Manager keeps trying to bridge the gap by employing Nurses with so-called special skills and a Pharmacist who keeps trying to cut down everyone’s pills. The patients aren’t happy even though the Receptionists have had special training in how to smile and be pleasant to people.
