Gig in Your Garden

Ben Bruant and Will Cashel are a duo playing ‘songs you know in ways you probably don’t’ in a style fusing flamenco, pop and classical music.

When lockdown began in March 2020, the band began live streaming free weekly Friday Night Flamenco sessions online – first from separate locations, then together but socially distanced and later in the gardens of nominated frontline and key workers. These ‘Gigs In Your Garden’ became tremendously popular and has been featured on BBC Breakfast, Sky News, Jeremy Vine on 5, in The Times, Mail on Sunday and Hello! Magazine and on numerous radio stations nationwide. The band was soon signed by Demon and released its first studio album, ‘Gig In Your Garden’ in February 2021. The album features 18 exhilarating arrangements of the most popular tracks played during their weekly garden gigs. Including Despacito (Luis Fonsi), Dance Monkey (Tones and I), Viva La Vida (Coldplay), Hysteria (Muse), Once Upon A Time In The West (Ennio Morricone), and Bad Guy (Billie Eilish). It has been produced by the legendary Nigel Wright.
