Filippo Dall’Asta Quartet – Gypsy Jazz meets Indian Music

Welcome to the musical brilliance of a Filippo Dall’Asta’s Mediterasian Gypsy Jazz gig! Italian born guitarist, composer and arranger, brings you his unique fusion of Gypsy jazz, bebop, classical, and the meditative sonorities of Indian music. Filippo will perform with his quartet: melancholic yet passionate guitar melodies, from Dall’Asta with Ducato Piotrowski on Rhythm, a driving double bass by Nick Lenner-Webster and the utterly hypnotic sound of Keval Joshi’s Indian tabla.
