Benoit Viellefon Trio

Benoit Viellefon, a firm favourite band at Brasserie Zedel, presents his trio; comprised of Benoit, with his signature French tinted vocals, playing a 1940’s archtop guitar, the very talented Alex Bryson on the piano, and the Argentinian heartthrob Eleazar Ruiz on double bass. Their music is a tribute to the timeless sound of The Nat King Cole Trio, Fats Waller, Ink Spots, the pre-war jazz greats, French Chanson and early Latin American music. The all singing band brings a fresh and different take on the Classic American songbooks of the 1930s, 40s and 50s, bringing together the elegance, fun and driving rhythms of the era!
