Here at WhatsOnStage, we don’t just report on the news, bring you backstage content, first looks, and exclusive chats and thoughts. Oh no!

We are now providing an online encyclopedia to all of your favourite performers and creatives! Stage Names is a who’s who of the West End and beyond, and something we’re working hard on behind the scenes. As more news comes in, we’re expanding and broadening the list, with over 1000 names and rising each day.

With that in mind, let’s take a look at who has been trending over the last month…

Every Bat Out of Hell fan’s favourite, Glenn Adamson, was one of our most perused Stage Names this month. The Jim Steinman and Meat Loaf musical is roaring across the UK in an “arena style” setting this summer, and Adamson’s Strat has once more caused a stir.

Frozen arrived on Disney Plus this month, and our reviewer said that in it, “the cast supplies the bubbly, larger-than-life charm that suits Disney Animation films so well.” That cast, as we reported earlier, features many familiar West End stars from the run at Theatre Royal Drury Lane, where it was filmed, and has readers intrigued to learn more about their credits.

London’s newest Evita needs no introduction as her balcony performance of “Don’t Cry For Me Argentina” has turned into a frenzy both online and outside The London Palladium. While her alternate, Bella Brown, at the time of writing, has yet to take on the central role, she has been attracting attention as the Mistress in the Jamie Lloyd-directed production, alongside Diego Andres Rodriguez as everyman Che.
